Day 10 of Lockdown in India: The departmental stores are slowly running out of supplies. I checked & was told they are not getting supplies from the manufacturers. We are only halfway through the 21-day lockdown.

Social distancing at the stores is clearly being maintained, very tough for Indians who like being social in crowds.

Amidst all of this, I saw people buying ice creams as well:)

Sweeden one of the few countries that have not imposed the lockdown yet plans to battle Corona through herd immunity (waiting till more than 60% population gets it, immunity gets naturally built). The jury is still out if it will work.

Singapore has managed the crisis pretty well, in fact, they started with measures much before their first case on 23 Jan. They have more than 800 clinics prepared for COVID-19.

There are only 3 ways to battle Corona
1. Lockdown
2. Social Distancing
3. Rigorous Testing & Tracing

India has probably done the first one better than anyone else.

Religious congregations are hurting India’s fight against Corona.

India has done 0.05 million COVID-19 tests so far, Germany in comparison has done 1 million tests, so India should have done at least 10 million tests by now.
