Albert Einstein wrote in a letter to his family after he could not find a job after his graduation in 1900.

He was contemplating changing his field & selling insurance instead. He was a daydreamer right through college, dreaming equations most of the time. As a teenager, he used to imagine what it would be riding a beam of light. His professors considered him useless.

His father tried hard to help him get his first job but in vain. His father passed away thinking his son was a big failure.

Finally, after 2 years of struggle, picking up small-time jobs as a teacher, Einstein picked up his first job as a clerk, his job was to review applications for patents.

He continued to daydream & play with ideas/equations in his spare time along with his 6 days a week job. After 3 years he published 4 papers in 1905

1. What is light

2. Existence of atoms

3. E= MC^2

4. Theory of relativity

The last paper was an idea he got while sitting in a bus staring at the clock tower, imagining himself moving at the speed of light.

He finally rode the beam of light:)

Are you feeling stuck?

Are you moving from thinking to doing?
